Aquatherm Moscow 2023 – Key Facts and Figures

Aquatherm Moscow 2023 proved its status of the largest Russian Exhibition for domestic and industrial heating, water supply, engineering and plumbing systems, equipment for swimming pools, saunas and spas. You can learn of the main results of the industry-specific event here below.

The 27th International Aquatherm Moscow Exposition took place from 14 to 17 February in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow. As before, the Exposition proved itself to be a highly effective business platform, where engineering equipment manufacturers and suppliers were able to meet interested representatives of wholesale and retail sales companies, and specialists from design, installation and construction companies.

469 companies took part in the Exposition

469 companies from 13 countries of the world participated in Aquatherm Moscow 2023. Their stands took up 27 thousand square meters of the exhibition space, twice as much as in 2022 (13,178 sq. m).

Based on surveys, the companies believe that the event was highly productive and fruitful for them. 92 % of the companies found new customers and business partners, while 90 % of the participants met their current customers and partners at the Expo.

25,549 unique visitors were registered at Aquatherm Moscow 2023

25,549 unique visitors from 82 regions of Russia and 36 countries of the world came to see the equipment for heat and water supply, sewerage systems and swimming pools. More than half of the visitors (57 %) were from Moscow and the Moscow region.

Most visitors (71 %) occupied management positions in companies specializing in wholesale and retail trade, design, installation and construction services, and equipment manufacture.

As in the past years, the Expo visitors were most interested in heating equipment, as this category attracted the attention of 17,063 people.

Water supply equipment finished close second, with 15,278 interested visitors.

The category of pipes, fittings and valves finished third, with 12,634 visitors interested in these products.

The visit to Aquatherm Moscow 2023 was productive for the majority of visiting specialists, as 74% of them (18,906) found new suppliers and business partners.

14 business program events

For entire four days of Aquatherm Moscow duration, the Expo was supported by business events, such as conferences, seminars and master classes. 123 speakers — industry experts and well-known opinion shapers — delivered their presentations at the Expo. 2,439 delegates attended the business program events.

One of the key subjects of the 2023 business program was the import substitution of equipment and response from the market and business to new conditions. As for something completely new to the Expo, live demonstrations of ball valves, piping and other equipment testing took place for the first time.
